Green Sand is an award winning architecture and sustainability consulting firm with a strong focus on sustainable award winning projects. Green Sand was established with a main purpose to do things better, smarter and with a focus on the environment and sustainable design. As a measure of our focus on sustainable design, Green Sand's staff is 100% LEED AP (accredited professionals) through the U.S. Green Building Council. Since the beginning, Green Sand has been a member of the USGBC and strives to incorporate sustainable design in all of our projects, whether they are seeking formal LEED Certification or not. Green Sand currently has over twelve LEED Certified projects, ten ongoing LEED projects, as well as two registered Living Building Challenge projects in the works.

In additiion to sustainable design for our architectural projects, Green Sand also provides independent sustainability, LEED and Living Building Challenge consulting services. Other architecture firms as well as builders and developers have hired us as their sustainability expert.
