Island Vintage Shave Ice, headed by the owner of Island Vintage Coffee, sells shave ice bowls, bubble teas, smoothies, ice cream and water. It already has a kiosk location at the Royal Hawaiian Center in Waikiki, where Island Vintage Coffee has a coffee shop above Royal Grove.
Honolulu-based Island Vintage Coffee, owned by Paul Kang’s IVC Corp., also has a coffee shop at Ala Moana Center, near the center stage on the first floor.
Matt Goyke, principal designer for Honolulu-based Green Sand Inc. Architecture + Sustainability, is the architect for the Ala Moana project.
Green Sand has also designed other Island Vintage Coffee spaces, including those at Royal Hawaiian Center and Ala Moana Center. The firm also designed the food court at Royal Hawaiian Center.

Island Vintage Coffee also has coffee shops at Ko Olina Station in West Oahu, Haleiwa Store Lots on Oahu’s North Shore, Whalers Village in West Maui and in Japan.
Island Vintage Coffee Co. is opening its second shave ice location at the former Magnolia Bakery kiosk at Ala Moana Center in Honoulu, a spokeswoman for the state’s largest shopping mall confirmed to Pacific Business News Monday.
The company has an Island Vintage Organic & Natural cosmetics and supplements store next to its Royal Hawaiian Center coffee shop.
Magnolia Bakery & Cafe and its nearby kiosk closed last month at Ala Moana Center, as first reported by PBN.
Its items have since been auctioned off and the bakery and cafe remains vacant.
The New York City bakery best known for its cupcakes and banana pudding had only been open at Ala Moana Center for a little more than a year.
